A place where everything stays as it was, whose wines express the fascination of art and the scent of a landscape in which wine has been grown for thousands of years. A wonderful hill region near San Gimignano in Tuscany.
Near San Gimignano, on the slopes of Monte Oliveto, very fresh and elegant wines grow, which were sung about centuries ago by famous poets such as Dante Alighieri. On the land around the ancient abbey, which once belonged to the Olivetan monks, there is a winery on which Vernaccia is grown today, just as it used to be. The autochthonous grape variety from which the first Italian wine with DOC rating was pressed. The unique location of the winemaker Abbazia Monte Oliveto in an untouched and conciliatory nature with soft light and pure air guarantees the production of aromatic wines with a particularly fine and intense taste.
