The cellars of the winery are all located in the famous Barolo region in Piedmont. In 1978, the five Dogliani brothers were inspired by a vineyard at their central winery to find a name for their company. Thus, the winery amidst the gentle contours of the Batasiolo vineyard was called "Beni di Batasiolo".
The true essence of "Beni di Batasiolo" cannot be understood without admiring the vastness of its vineyards in the best and most important wine villages of the Langhe. In the old local dialect, the word "beni" means good or grange, and this idea of the unbreakable connection between the farmer and his vineyard is summarized in the name "Beni di Batasiolo".
With eight estates in the best locations, Beni di Batasiolo is today one of the region's most renowned winemakers.
