The noble Neapolitan family Zecca has been cultivating vineyards in Leverano, in the heart of Salento, for more than 500 years.
A great tradition that you can sense in every sip. Four so-called "tenutes", which have been family-owned for centuries, form the Azienda Agricola Conti Zecca. The Conti properties together have a vineyard area of 320 hectares, the yield of which is processed exclusively in the family-owned winery in Leverano.
When selecting the variations, Conti Zecca focuses primarily on the autochthonous grape varieties of Apulia. Modern varieties such as Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay are rather the exception in the family's vineyards.
