Podere San Cristoforo is a small winery in the Maremma, an unspoilt region between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the rolling hills of the Tuscan coast. The vineyards are located a few kilometres from the sea on the bottom of an ancient river made up of gravel, sand, and a good portion of clay. The San Cristoforo winery firmly believes in biodynamic viticulture with low yields, little use of technology and a lot of manual labour. The care of the soil and the symbiotic relationships between their vitality and the roots of the vines are of great importance. A few bottles of fine craftsmanship that reflect great respect and love for the environment.
