Wines the way you want them in Apulia. These excellent wines are made in the heart of the DOC Manduria and Lizzano by Tenute Emèra. Around the stately Palazzo “Casino Nitti”, the 80 hectares of land that belong to the tenute extend, 50 hectares are currently planted with vines. The main focus is on autochthonous grape varieties such as Primitivo and Negramaro. From the beginning it was the declared aim of "Since 1974" to put the autochthonous grape varieties of Apulia in the foreground. The fathers of the line wanted to elevate Primitivo and Negroamaro to the Italian Wine Olympics. This intention can already be seen in the name of the line. "Since 1974" the Primitivo di Manduria has the rank of an independent DOC.
