Apulia, in the far south of Italy, is one of the largest wines producing regions of Italy.
Known as Italy's wine cellar provides Apulia wines that were already known in the 8th and 7th century BC., at the time of "Magna Graeca". Under the Romans Apulian wines were exported throughout the then-known "civilized" world.
During the Renaissance it was Lorenzo "the Magnificient" Medici that found the wines of this region extremely pleasant and after the occupation of Italy by the French gigantic quantities were shipped to France (!!!).
Hot and dry climate and the influence of the sea create ideal conditions for viticulture. Thanks to the proximity to both the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea the nights cool here to the extent on how it is necessary for the cultivation of quality wines.
We buy our wines from the province of Salento, which is known to produce the best wines of Apulia.
