The Grappa Riserva Alba by Mazzetti d’Altavilla is composed of the marc from Nebbiolo di Barolo and Erbaluce, which are then mixed here to create intense aromas. Piedmont is a land of the noble vines that have shaped the landscape of a region that has been dedicated to excellence for centuries. To offer the best of this land, Mazzetti d'Altavilla has created Riserva Alba, a long-aged grappa made from selected marc from Nebbiolo da Barolo and Erbaluce, the former from red berries typical of the Langhe and the latter from white Berries, characteristic of the Canavese region. Two distillates that are artfully mixed to create intense emotions. This wonderful grappa is distilled in a discontinuous process before it is matured in Tronçais oak barrels for at least 18 months. The extraction is then followed by assembly and further refinement in small wooden barrels.
