Established in 1904, the winery "Gruppo Mezzacorona" is one of the first associations of local wineries in Italy and now one of the most dynamic and innovative cooperative wineries Italy.
The winery, with 2800 hectares of vineyards in Trentino and Alto Adige (South Tyrol), oversees the entire oenological sequence, starting with the work in the vineyard to the making of the finished wines.
The wines are produced exclusively from grapes winery's own vineyards, processed and harvested by the winemakers of the cooperative. The grapes are delivered directly after harvest at the winery and processed there.
The winery "Gruppo Mezzacorona" is a cooperative of "first rank". The "Wine Enthusiast Magazine" gave the winery in 2009 the award "Winery of Europe."
All vineyards are processed by the "integrated production" with the aim, to obtain products, which are in a balance with nature.
